Ride Guide ContestWin a complete set of Backroad Mapbooks for BC!March 26/04 Written by Greg
Quads.ca has just entered into a working relationship with Mussio Ventures Ltd., the publishers of the Backroad Mapbook series of maps and CDs. Mussio Ventures will be providing custom online maps for many of the riding area listed in our Ride Guide. The Backroad Mapbooks are an excellent resource for ATVers, four-wheelers, and other back-country explorers, and their Mapbook CDs are perfect for use with your GPS and mapping software. To promote this new relationship, we have set up a contest: One lucky Quads.ca member will win a COMPLETE SET OF BACKROAD MAPBOOKS for British Columbia, generously donated by Mussio Ventures. The approximate retail value of this prize package is $133.65.        The set includes the following Backroad Mapbooks: • Southwestern BC • Vancouver Island • Kamloops/Okanagan • The Kootenays • Cariboo • Central BC • Chilcotin For information about these Mapbooks and the Map CD's, please visit the Mussio Ventures website. Contest RulesYou must be a registered member of Quads.ca. You must consent to allow Quads.ca and Mussio Ventures to publish your name as the winner of the prize. To enter, just submit a trail for the Quads.ca Ride Guide. The submission MUST contain the following information: your Quads.ca username, the name of the trail/road/area, general directions to the trailhead, a description of the trail and its obstacles, and a difficulty rating as described on the Ride Guide page. Optional information can include GPS coordinates, GPS tracks, and photos. If you need an idea on how to write a description, please see the existing write-ups in the Ride Guide. There is no limit to the number of trails you can submit. Each trail submitted will give you one chance in the draw; the more trails you submit, the better your chances of winning. The trail must be located in British Columbia, and must be legally accessible by anyone on an ATV. The trail must not already be listed in the Ride Guide. The Ride Guide will be continuously updated during the contest. The winning entry will be a random drawing from all valid submissions. Contest closes at midnight on Friday, April 30, 2004. Draw date will be Monday May 3, 2004. The winner will be notified by email, via the address in their Quads.ca user profile. The winner's name will also be posted on Quads.ca. No purchase neccessary.
